Recurring Charges
Each customer can have unlimited recurring charges automatically billed to their account on a monthly or yearly basis. The customer listed below has 5 charges assigned to their account. Agreement number 1 & 2 have been completed and are no longer charged. Agreement numbers 3,4 & 5 or on going charges until they reach their stop date or the balance of the charge is zero. Recurring charges are most often used for installment payments for the purchase of new equipment and rental charges.
The PURCHASE window below shows the details for an equipment purchase. The system is capable of charging interest and taxes on the loan and will automatically reduce the balance amount each month the charge is posted to the customers account. When the balance becomes zero the system will automaticly stop charging the customer.
The RENTAL window below shows the details for a Rental charge. Rental charges are posted to the customers account until the stop date. If there is no stop date the charges will continue until a stop date is entered. Rentals can be setup to bill monthly or yearly.
The End-Of-Month procedure will run the billing program and the charge will appear on the customers statement each month.
